Aloha! My first time in Kauai and in Hawaii altogether. So
many memories made and this condo stitched it all together.
The view was amazing and watching the ocean rise and fall
on the Portch throughout the day was magical.

We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and had a dreamy
time. What a beautiful property and this unit was just right
for our needs. My favorite thing about it was sitting on the
lanai in the morning and watching the sun come up and the
whales go by! Wow! I loved the photography here as well -
well done

Mahalo! Three Albertans
had a wonderful time and were so grateful to escape the Canadian
winter for a week. This location was perfect for us. Spent a
lot of time at Kiahuna Beach and Poipu Beach. Saw the turtles
and seals almost every day. The condo was also perfect - had
everything we needed and then some. Don, we enjoyed your photographs!
And the view from the Lanai can't be beat. We hope to be back
someday.

To our beautiful surroundings, it's time for goodbye. We relaxed
and enjoyed every moment of our first vacation together, could
not have asked for anything better. This will always be a
wonderful memory for us. We hope to come back to enjoy once
again.

Thanks Don and Jeanne for Hawaiian hospitality. While I stayed
here single-ly, two other families were included in my sons
40th birthday celebration. Milestones. Your place is restful
and welcoming. Our days here were filled with blue skies,
abundant warmth, and great adventures. We return now to Portland
Oregon with the "forever rains" that have already
begun. May your journeys be blessed with good health and joy.

Mahalo! Your vacation home is beautiful. My husband and I
came to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We were here
25 years ago as well. I'm not sure w stayed in this unit but
we were close. The view is spectacular. The sounds of the
birds and ocean are perfect for relaxing. We won't wait another
25 years to return. We plan on bringing our children back
to experience this magical land. We live in Brecken Ridge
Colorado and also have a place in T. I. west coast of Florida.
Always willing to do a trade. Let us know. 970........

Mahalo! We enjoyed our week in your lovely Kiahuna condo.
We have been coming to Kauai every year or two since about
1989! We almost always stay here at the Kiahuna. We love this
view from your lanai! Our visit was a little different this
year as many attractions were booked up in advance, but it
was great just staying around here. We did get to tour the
Allerton McBride National Gardens and had a fabulous last
night dinner at the Beach House. Yes, we are fully vaccinated
and felt safe because of the requirements and protocols that
HI imposed. If you even want to do a swap with our 5-bedroom
home in North Lake Tahoe, send us email at ........ All the
best to you!

April 2021
Year 2020 was a "lost vacation year" due to the
Covid-19 pandemic. The Kiahuna Plantation Resort opened up
post-pandemic in April 2021 with a slow start for the area
in a continuing recovery and Covid restrictions. The toll
on the local Hawaiians from the disease was mitigated, saving
many lives by the strict protocols and travel restrictions
put in place by Kauai County. Many of the old haunts that
visitors enjoyed and supported residents' livelihood are restarting
their businesses but sadly, too many of them as well had to
close for good. There are some new and exciting shops open
or opening soon, ready to host visitors. A whole new shopping
and dining experience at the Koloa Village is planned for
the future. We are happily vaccinated and I hope you are as
well so that we can be rid of this plague. We have enjoyed
our stay of two weeks in our unit, unfamiliar to us for over
two years It has weathered the test of time and we are grateful
to the management here at Kiahuna Plantation Resort for watching
over our place in Paradise. Enjoy our special place and Kauai.
